Blogmas Day 4; reflecting on the year πŸ“…πŸ’œ

I think this is the best time to sit & reflect on the year we have just had. Mine has honestly been an absolute roller coaster! So here’s a bit about how my year went.

January; I found out my beloved dog Lilli was super poorly so I was trying to spend as much time with her as I could.

February;
we lost Lilli & I have never felt so heartbroken. We also got the keys to our first home too (it was actually the same day) 😩

March; was a complete blur

April; Sam & I went to Dublin for a short mini break. Too much to eat & too much to drink πŸ˜‚ best way to spend your holiday right?

May;
we had weddings & birthdays galore this month, it was such glorious weather too.

June; we went to see Ed Sheeran at Wembley. It was what I bought us for our anniversary

July; I moved out of my family home & into Sam’s family home for a couple of weeks.

August; we moved in to our first home together & celebrated our anniversary as well! Definitely one of my favourite months of the year!

September;
my birthday month & again lots of events. I also got a new car… Not intentionally πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚  don’t ask….

October; we went to more weddings & christenings!

November; we finally had a bit of a quiet month. And I went to my first blogger event, super exciting!😍

December; we’ve just celebrated Sam’s birthday & now it’s a jam packed month of festivities & fun! I cannot wait.

Honestly I think I’ve been through every emotion you can imagine. I have learnt so much & had such a lot going on that I’ve had to mature a little more. I wouldn’t say I’m overly immature. But just moving out is a big thing to adjust to. Also you may think this is sad, but Lilli meant everything to me so I have had to adjust to life without my furry best friend. It’s so hard when you don’t see them everyday πŸ˜₯

How has your year treated you?

  1. Sorry to hear about your dog ❀ sounds like you've also hit some great milestones this year; seeing Ed Sheeran, getting a new car and getting keys to your own place.

    Personally I feel 2018 was hard but it's taught me a few lessons, I wish they weren't all taught to me the way they happened but moral of the story is I won't take shit anymore x
